End of OH 6I just wanted to post a more current journal, though I'm not sure how much I'll actually be on DA. We'll see - I haven't been creating much lately and have been otherwise very busy with school and work. I'm back in school to learn how to be a sign language interpreter. I just made it through my first quarter, and there were times I wasn't sure I was going to. It's quite a challenge to go back to school after being out of the habit of doing homework! But I do really like my classes, my teachers, and my job (at a bookstore). The program is two years, so I'll be done after spring quarter of 2008. I'm not sure I'll stay in Spokane after that, because I really miss my close friends who don't live around here. There are also other cities in which there are more diverse opportunities for interpreters. I haven't been doing art because I've been so busy, but I have been feeling the urge to create and so I hope I manage to work it into my schedule. I have been doing some knitting and have created a great pattern for a scarf/hat/hand-warmer set with beautiful cables. So that has been the extent of my creativity as of late; hopefully I'll get back to some 2D work soon.
That's the update, my patient dog is waiting to go outside.
